Mexican impromptu

Sitting on the deck with friends talking about what or where to go for dinner. Then BAM Mexican Night it is. Made a quick run to the grocery store and the fun began. We even turned some Mexican tunes on Pandora to get the whole vibe going.  Everyone was helping with something and it made me love my huge kitchen even more. 

The menu: Sanchos, guacamole, salsa and chips,

& of course margaritas! 

I love the randomness of the night. So fun!

It only comes once a year...

OJohn's birthday that is. Thank goodness for that. The weekend was filled with hanging out with these peeps.

Concert in Lawrence to see Andy Frasco. I highly recommend seeing him if he is ever in your neck of the woods. 

Followed up with a scooter ride to our BIL house for my nieces tea party to celebrate her turning 4.

John's dad with all his grandkids. Kate is in the purple dress. They are all so adorable. Then we headed back to the house for a few more cocktails.

Crazy boys! I'd say it was a successful weekend.
